It was announced at the conclusion of the Rocky Mountain Regional Qualifiers, that the top three female competitors, all from Front Range CrossFit would forego the individual competition and participate instead in the Affiliate Cup."
After the wall balls put an end to CrossFit Oakland's hopes of a repeat victory, Front Range took an early lead and maintained it. Jeremy Christofferson, who took 18th place in Rocky Mountain Qualifier despite a broken hand, lead the team into the final deadlift portion of the event. Front Range posted the best time of the day in the Stadium Event, but it was not enough to place them in the top 5.
