You didn't finish your sentence Tami...I think it was supposed to say something like: "I love Pat Barber..." ;)

I don't think I've ever been as impressed by any crossfitter as I was during Euro qualifiers when I saw Mikko leave for that second run during the Fat Helen (if you were there, you know what I mean) and then not even looking tired at the end of the WOD.

As Richard said: Be scared, be very scared!

I think his name is as badass as his (utterly impressive) WOD times. How do you pronounce it?

Ryan - it`s pronounced Mikko Salo ;)

Watching this man in action at the qualifiers was oddly reminiscent of being a kid a magic show.

Now that the Games are in full swing and this guy is crushing it, expect a sudden flurry of interest in the darkhorse Mister Salo. And we'll all look back at his stats and wonder why EVERYONE wasn't picking him to win it all...

Impressive indeed. Coming in 2nd at the run and then putting up a 495 deadlift (nearly 3x BW)in the ladder workout. Holy smokes!

That's the comment that made me pick Mr. Salo as the winner, and you guys were certainly correct. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the 7k time and 495 deadlift combo.

Mind-blowing stuff Mikko!
