18 years old? WOW. Any idea what this kid was doing for training before he started CFing a year ago? He definately had to be doing more than just screwing around in his high school weight room like most kids his age. I wish I was as smart back then.

Congrats Ben, very impressive.

Congrats Ben! Your stats are very impressive. You being 18 years old makes them even more impressive. Good luck at the games this year and for the next 25 years. I'm sure you going to a force in the CF community for a long long time.

I knew there were going to be some sleepers at the Regionals. Some great athletes are just now discovering CF, and it is happening everyday. Ben smoked my time in the Snatch/ C2B pull up w/o, and Blair killed my time in w/o#3 on Saturday.

I believe all that qualified in the M-A Region are going to do well at the games. I asked Ben how old he was after I announced him as the winner. I was in disbelief when he said 18. Damn, I got 22 years on him....WTF?

Ben, your numbers are awesome - keep up the strong work.

BTW - this kid has an amazing attitude as well - another great representative of the CF Community!

30. Thirty years. THIRTY YEARS older than Ben. I mused about what it might have been like had I known CF at 18 or 20 on

30 years Jeff. Sigh...

Good luck at the Games young man!

Thanks to all for the support and a huge thanks to Jeff Tincher for an awesome weekend!! The competition there was great and I am sure looking forward to the games this summmer!

It was really cool seeing all main site crossfit guys out there like Jeff Tincher, Dave Castro, Pat Sherwood, Tony Blauer, and Brendan G. I started crossfit watching all their videos and now I get to compete with them its awesome!

To COS... I mostly workout alone in my backyard or with anyone of my friends who decides to join me... I just make up whatever workouts with ideas from the mainsite or other sites like CF unlimited. Something new everyday, thats why I love Crossfit!

Mike Dubrule, Scott and Kevin's dad from Chesapeake. As a dabbler in Crossfit, I know enough about the events to know your performances are outstanding. I remember your baseball coach at Great Bridge pointing out to Scott and some other Baseball Camp guys how your "weight" training had translated to baseball excellence as well. I still remind Scotty and Kevin about that comment he made and how you got the most out of the body God gave you through hard work and obviously some educated choices in your workouts. Your a heck of a young man and congratualtions to you in your baseball and crossfit successes.
