I LOVE Pat Barber b/c we're the same height/weight so I can compare myself to him with no excuses! With a 4th place overall finish last year, he really represents what the relatively little guys can be capable of.

I'd like to invite everybody to look at his profile from the 08 games. His press was 155. Now it's 180. That's a 25lb increase in ONE YEAR, taking him up to 20 lbs OVER BODYWEIGHT! WTF!?

Just watched the vid. I'd like to add to my previous comment that the only error pat made at the 2008 games was NOT wearing his short running shorts for ALL the events.

Had he done this, I believe he would have bested Everett, Khalipa and Thiel.

yeah yeah so we know he has sick overhead strength. hey pat do you have that sub 1:00 400m yet?? i was looking for it on the stat sheet and for some reason it's not on there.

you know i'm a huge fan buddy.

At least they just get the name confused. People look me straight in the eye and still think I'm Barber. Until I take off my shirt and the rolls just unravel.

Then they're sure I am.

Now I'm gonna go belt out somewhere around 7 rounds of Cindy and set the record straight once and for all.

Hey Barb, I think you've got a fan... :P
Maybe you should ALWAYS wear those short shorts everywhere you go. People would probably respect you more...
Love you!

Pat walked around at my level 1 making that same face and talking like Marlon Brando. It was a good impression but he just wouldn't stop and it was hard to understand some of his cueing.
#1 in 09 under the mystery format?

Hey Dan,

I'm not sure exactly what you are saying... but anybody that is a Pat "Manimal" Barber fan... and I am the Pat fan club president, knows that Pat looks like a littler pinner before work outs.

And blows up and looks like a man during the work out and then 40 minutes after the work out he turns back into that little pinner.

Pat was very lean at the games and even between his events he looked nothing like the picture above.

You need to really brush up on your Pat knowledge if you wanna be part of the club.

Sevan -I didnt know you were president of the Pat Barber Fan Club. I feel better knowing the Pat's public image is in the capable hands of a seasoned professional. With your support and coaching Pat maybe be able to attain hero status.
