nice job on qualifying!.. Are you still going to be having cheat days leading up to the games, or will your diet be getting more strict? would love another zone chronicles!

I'm with Capt. Crunch! I'd love to see a Zone Chronicles outlining any differences you make in your nutrition for the games, and ON game day, between WODs and such.

You better hope you don't have to run in Aromas.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the support.

I don't plan on eating any different or training any different than I normally do. I always thought that if I had to train different for the qualifiers or the games then I may have not been training properly in the first place. That's just my opinion. Many athletes far better than me did modify things and had great success.

The "I don't run" comment may bear a bit of clarification. If I can avoid it, I do. That is my policy not just because I hate it, but also due to the fact that I broke my pelvis about 8 years ago. I've got 2 plates and 11 screws in me from that little accident. I can do cleans, snatches, box jumps, deadlifts, you name it....all pain free. For whatever reason when I run it hurts like hell and I limp the next day like something is wrong. So I avoid it. I usually row instead.

I hear you on the ice cream, Speal! It was delicious. I did what you recommended and did not take a nap when I got home...trying to fight the jetlag. I'll let you know how it works!

Pat for a guy that has had a broken pelvis you crushed the run/OHS/BJ WOD.

Also, I was in the last heat in the final WOD with you and after you crushed me by a whole minute, or more, I walked over to congratulate you and saw how you were still laid out.....oh and bleeding. Since then I've been trying to find that place you went to get through that WOD. Ben Smith and you were an inspiration.

It was a blast to get to compete against you. Good luck at Aromas!

Oh BTW how are the hands?

It was great competing with all you guys. All you animals in the last heat were the inspiration for me to give it all that I had. Everyone during that entire weekend pushed 100% in every wod. It was amazing to watch every heat lay their hearts out.

The hands are actually recovering quite well. I can use them in wods now, so no complaints! haha

Once again.....thanks for all the support everyone. The CF community kicks ass!

It was amazing to watch that last WOD on Sunday. Just so everyone knows why Tim is asking about your hands:

Thanks for the comment Pat. Hope training is going well for you. Unless we can link up for a WOD or two in the next few weeks, I'll see you out there.
