I don't care how strong and fit a guy is, no man should ever work out in a half shirt!

Mike,

I disagree. I think the shirt is reminiscent of a young Wesley Snipes in Wildcats (circa 1986). And I my opinion, that's pretty awesome.

The only improvement I would make to the guy's WOD outfit is the addition of a pair of grey Russell sweat pants (preferably one size too small) worn underneath a pair of polyester Bike Coaches shorts.

Where might one purchase featured half shirt?
Actually he might be on to something here...
He almost achieves the crossfit standard shirtless requirement, while protecting his chest from chafing, and also to avoid sweating on the bar.

It could be the angle, but it looks like the bar is getting away from Jerome in the pull section of his clean. Jennifer looks to be keeping the bar much closer. My first thought was that Jerome wasn't coming to a full triple extension, but looking at it again it looks good. Jennifer - hard to tell from the angle - jumping a bit early maybe?

Strong production values.

Ron,

I could be jumping a bit early... probably from being overly excited seeing Jerome in his half shirt.

The video has been very helpful, watching, and improving form. Always something to work on :)

Jerome was chiseled like a sculpture at the Northwest Qualifier. Here's a video of his 606lb deadlift

Hey Chris, thanks for the video...I have not seen the DL from that angle till now. Yeah, I realize my technique lacks on many lifts. I have always struggled with that, guess sometimes you just gotta grab and go... I can surely use this DL video as a learning tool to improve. Thanks again.

Jerome you are a beast. What are your stats (height/weight)? You look pretty tall from the video.

Whoever edited that video, awesome job. Unsolicited advice: Jennifer you are jumping a bit early, not coming to full hip extension. Also try not to donkey kick, come up on your toes (this will happen naturally with full extension) then move your feet down and to the side versus kicking them up.

Internet coaching advice after watching a super slow motion video - do you think that Kevin, and these two superior athletes can't see it also...

Awesome video, killer outputs and physiques! Can't wait for the games!!

Sick video. Nerdy technical question ALERT!

What camera was this shot on? Editing software? Really sharp picture and great camera work!

The camera that this was shot on was a Panasonic HVX-200. The editing software was Final Cut Pro. I will give a secret as well and share that it was color corrected using "magic bullet looks".

I think all the comments on Jeromes half shirt are hilarious. I did not even pay attention to that when I was shooting it. All I was thinking was "thats a lot of muscles"! LOL!
