I can't wait to see the results of that first workout, it looks incredible.

Why is Africa only getting 2 representatives though? It seems like an entire continent deserves to send a few more, when some of the regionals in the USA are sending 12.

Erik, from my understanding the number of folks from each region was predicated upon the number of affiliates in that region.

These workouts are really going to be nasty. As a competitor, I am not looking forward to that first workout. The main reason is that I weigh in at a mere 73kg.

Will B., your dead on in that it is calculated on number of affiliates. Currently only one affiliate in Africa region (South Africa) with a few more that are in the process of affiliating.

CrossFit is very new in our country. Our box was only opened in Nov last year. To have 25 competitors is not bad at all, although there are so many more that's doing CrossFit. I am sure by next year our country will be pumping, by then we should have a couple more affiliates. Gaven, who is the genius behind the workouts did a great job, to ensure that we are on par with the rest of the CrossFit communities. Being a competitor myself I know that this one is going to sting ....
