Dirty South Regional Qualifiers

The Dirty South Regional Qualifiers are upon us and the workouts have been posted:

Workout #1

3 min Max Points Suicide Run
2 min Rest
3 min Max Rep Deadlift (275 lb. Men) (185 lb. Women)

Workout #2

5 Rounds for time of:
20 Double Unders
10 Wall Ball (20 lb. Men) (14 lb. Women) all 10 ft. target
1 Rope Climb 15 ft.
There will be a 15 minute time limit for this workout

Workout #3

8 min AMRAP of:
5 Clean and Jerk (135 lb. Men) (95 lb. Women)
(From the ground by any recognized clean to full extension overhead)
10 Chest to Bar Pull Ups

All competitors will complete Workout 1, then after 3 1/2 hours rest they will begin one of the two afternoon Workouts. Some competitors will begin the afternoon with Workout #2 and some will begin with Workout #3. The afternoon Event WOD order is randomly predetermined for all competitors. All competitors will be given equal rest between workouts.

HA! Oh, man... 3 minutes of suicides and 3 minutes of 275# DLs... wow. My body hurts just looking at it. Talk about a gut-check WOD.

I love the creativity in the workouts for these qualifiers. Keep it up! Good luck to all the competitors.

Workout 1 would absolutely trash your back for those C+J. That's my prediction.

These are cool (esp #2 looks like fun!) and I like the point scoring system.

These look like some great workouts! Cool to see what everyone is coming up with. Great job on these gang!
