Dutch Lowy from CrossFit ATM finished seventh in the 2008 Games. He is prepping for the Hell's Half Acre Regional Qualifiers with a little Oly workout.

One of Dutch's nicknames is Mini Max, for his resemblance to Max Mormont.

Dutch weighs about 160lbs (about 72kg) these days. This workout is three rounds, of 3-2-1 reps, of:
Snatch 80kg
Clean and jerk 100kg

Thank God we taught you how to pull on time for this one. Now just quit bench pressing your jerks and locking your back knee. And next time, put some weight on the bar, Nancy.

The big guys are lucky there aren't weight classes for the Games.

PS: I'm glad you did not edit out the snatch misses. To me, it always makes the athlete look more human (and that the WOD is seriously taxing the individual) when the misses are shown.
